ISUZU Motors India Private Limited, a subsidiary of ISUZU Motors Limited, Japan was established in 2012. ISUZU mu-X – a true 7-seater SUV that promises you the best of both worlds. Built on the concept of ‘All Muscle. All Heart.’, it not only has the power to conquer any road less taken but also has premium comforts for your family.

Challenge

Isuzu was already launched in India, but through the mu-X launch event, we intended to create hype and hoopla in the market, which was an enormous challenge. Thus, coordination with multiple media was also involved to create an impact. mu-X was launched with breakthrough 3D Projection Mapping. A relatively offbeat concept never before attempted in India. The challenge was to build the setup overnight and at the same time have multiple trials to ascertain if it was up and running. Majorly, big technical front was involved. From setup to trial, every process had to be executed in the shortest timeline.

Solution

To create a buzz for this significant launch event, we ensured that we had a lot of people in our team. Being a people-oriented mandate, each individual was assigned a particular task; that was executed to perfection. The team was divided to cover different challenges such as media coordination, production setup, overall monitoring, amongst others. To ensure a successful launch, we invited multiple media for the coverage. New-age technology helped significantly in ensuring it was unique and pleasing to the eye, thereby creating a lasting impression.

Achievement

The launch of the event was covered by nearly 100 different media including print, electronic and digital. The target was to create a media buzz and we were hugely successful.
